Our bathroom includes a toilet, sink, and a full shower/tub. Its design aims to save space while at the same time providing all necessary amenities. A+ designer chose for the bathroom a corner location to create a more open room in the middle of the ADU.
Attached to a wall, the kitchen includes essential appliances like a refrigerator, dishwasher, and slide-in range. It also contains solid wood cabinetry and countertops with a marble-like finish for storing utensils and effective cooking.
Our team created a living area combined with the kitchen to minimize view obstructions and increase the amount of usable square feet. Our living room is spacious enough to accommodate a sofa, a small coffee table, and a bigger dining table with chairs located near the window. Also, to improve the usability of the area, we positioned a storage space in the middle, fostering an organized and clutter-free environment.
The overall style of our 500 square feet unit incorporates neutral colors with a bright yellow accent manifested in sofa upholstery and cushions. We also used pleasant-to-touch and textured materials to enhance the sense of coziness. The wood flooring adds warmth and a cohesive feel to the ADU. Besides, the generous amount of natural light improves the overall mood of the space.
